Belonging

Hello, nice to meet you!

We hope you can find a place to call 'home' here at Harmony.  We think there is a place for everyone to be involved regardless of your background or abilities. Everyone is unique and has something to contribute in a small or a big way.  We appreciate that life is very busy for many people so we don't ask you to come to endless meetings but  it is important for us that you feel 'connected'.

There are many ways that can happen through groups, events, phone calls, emails, keeping in touch on Facebook or via the Harmony website.  At Harmony every term we have 'Dinners of 8' that you can sign up to for meeting new people.  These are held in people's homes and sign up sheets will be available Sundays.  These are a nice relaxed way to connect with others.
Every term we will have a shared lunch.  We encourage you to join in these as another way of connecting.

Another aspect of 'belonging' is giving financially (see Giving) and offering your service in whatever area you are able.  It might be helping with Sunday set up, Creche, Music, Morning tea, assisting with events, flyer drops in the area or a myriad of other options.

If you would like to talk to someone about following Jesus, or any other issue or question, we would invite you to contact us.  Either personally after a Sunday service, or via phone 3384 253, or email harmonychurch@ihug.co.nz.
